Outreach - Tokyo 2017
March 22-25 - Gallery 1
The Tokyo Outreach program was four days from March 22 to the 25th. 13 first year SGH students (juniors) participated in the visit. From our hotel rooms in Ikebukuro, we visited companies, organizations, and universities related to their research themes in the surrounding areas. The SGH students presented their findings and received excellent feedback from professionals and scholars. We also conducted interview surveys.
This year, we visited the Yokohama Municipal Science Frontier High School where we gave presentations. We also visited the Kasumigaseki Center of Japanese Politics, and the National Assembly.
国内実践は、３月２２日から２５日まで４日間、東京近辺で実施しました。参加者は１年生１３名。池袋のホテルを拠点にしながら、３つのグループで研究テーマに関連した大学·企業等を訪問。各地でプレゼンテーションを行い、意見交換しました。今年は、同じＳＧＨ校である横浜市立横浜サイエンスフロンティア高校を訪問し、プレゼンテーションでの交流も行いました。最終日には、日本の政治の中心である霞ヶ関へ集合し、国会を見学。本会議の傍聴はできませんでしたが、重厚な佇まいに感激し、本校ＯＢの議員秘書さんの案内を受け、グローバルリーダーとして活躍する未来を想像しました。
